| Each UNI-POWER solar electric module utilizes United Solar's proprietary Triple Junction silicon solar cells. These cells are made in a roll-to-roll deposition process on a continuous roll of stainless steel sheet metal. The result is a unique, flexible, lightweight cell. The modules are exceptionally durable. They are encapsulated in UV stabalized polymers and framed with anodized aluminum. A coated Galvalume steel backing plate provides stiffness. The polymer encapsulation includes EVA and fluoropolymer Tefzel,a DuPont film. Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing the modules to produce power even when partially shaded. These modules are provided with integral wiring (2- conductor 18 AWG - 70 deg. C.) |

| Each UNI-SOLAR solar battery charger utilizes the United Solar's proprietary Triple Junction silicon solar cells. These cells are made in a roll-to-roll deposition process on a continuous roll of stainless steel sheet metal. The result is a unique, flexible, lightweight cell. The vinyl and foam modules are exceptionally durable. They are encapsulated in UV stabilized polymers and bonded and stitched to a cushioned backing material. The polymer encapsulation includes EVA and fluoropolymer Tefzel, a DuPont film. Bypass diodes are connected across each cell, allowing the modules (excluding USF-5) to produce power even when partially shaded. Blocking diodes are included within each potted junction box. A blocking diode prevents battery discharge into the module. Each panel has 8 feet of tinned wire with 2-pin SAE connector, and is packaged with a 2-foot fused battery cable. |

| UNI-PACs provide power even if riddled with bullet holes, or in partial shade. The UNI-PAC can be dropped, stepped on, packed and redeployed, while continuing to operate. Military units, trekkers, climbers, and professional photographers depend on the UNI-PAC for feild communications, emergency power, and battery maintenance. The tough nylon fabric covering of the UNI-PAC allows the unit to be folded to a convenient book size, for easy storage and transport. |

| Designed to meet military requirements for durability, performance, and reliability, the UNI-PAC features a strong, long-lasting front cover made of Tefzel (by DuPont). Individual solar laminates contain by-pass diodes, making the UNI-PAC solar charges tolerant of severe shadow or partial covering. The UNI-PAC 10 offers dual voltage charging for 12V and 24V, the UNI-PAC 15 and UNI-PAC 30 are for 12V charging only. |
