ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Manage transportation and erection of wind turbine components from the manufacturing workshops to the commercial construction stage.
2. Manage all the activities prior to contract award. Be involved in the contract award process.
3. Establish estimates for transportation and erection contracts. Manage all the commissioning activities for our WTGs.
4. Identify, develop, and build relationships with contractors and engineering firms and oversees third party activities related to engineering and construction activities
5. Manage budgeted project expenses, schedule, and projected return
6. Prepare and present project status reports to management
7. Travel to project sites required (50% travel)

JOB DUTIES:

1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or work equivalent
2. Requires familiarity with the full life cycle of power projects and business development
3. Excellent written and oral communications skills with proven track record in successful negotiations with engineering and construction firms
4. Ability to perform technical, economic feasibility analysis, and financial modeling
5. Must possess a working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting and contract implementation.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/construction environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
