ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to design assembly fixtures.
2. Experience working with close tolerances (how parts fit together) for both machined metal parts and fixtures.
3. Experience with mistake-proofing techniques.  What applications have been worked into your designs?
4. Collaboration on the full process from the design concept stage through validation release.
5. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
6. Automation project design experience.
7. Experience with APQP process (PFMEA, DFMA, PPAP, etc.).
8. Experience designing leak test fixtures/experience working with leak testers.  What were the leak rates and pressure parameters?
9. Depth of knowledge of design work; or just following someone else’s design?
10. Experience with ergonomic concerns and the end user of the fixture.
