ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum of 3 years experience in the electrical field.
2. Excellent organizational skills.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
4. Driver’s License required.
5. Ability to spend 100% of time at the wind farms during the commissioning process.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage several activities at once, to organize / prioritize work, to meet deadlines and to prepare reports.
7. WTG commissioning experience preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. Equivalent related work experience accepted.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Lead On-site commissioning of WTG Team.
2. Follow of the working condition of the WTG until the wind farm “Take Over Certification”.
3. Coordinate work of other commissioning technicians and electrical subcontractors.
4. Reports to the Erection and Commissioning Manager.
5. Testing of the WTG prior to final connection to the grid.
6. Prepare all the required WTG commissioning documentation.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/construction environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
